Preventing Action Icons and Symbols from Appearing on Branches

Task icons appear on branches when you set one or more task properties against a branch or when you switch the map to Gantt view. These icons indicate that certain properties have been set for the branch.
You can elect to hide the task icons via the “Options” dialog.

To hide icons:

1. Switch to the “Tools” ribbon
2. Click “Options”
3. Switch to the “Display” tab
4. Clear the “Tasks” checkbox
5. Click “OK”

You can use the same dialog to control the display of other branch icons, like categories, notes and resources. This feature can be useful, especially during export or while creating slides based on your map, as it allows you to remove unwanted information.
